Ms. Mandira (Deepshikha) had bought a Bungalow for Rs 50,00,000/- in the outskirts of Mumbai-Madh Island as an investment 10 years ago. But unfortunately the house was never sold since. But all that is left now is pile of old magazines and newspapers & broken walls. So Ms. Mandira the unfortunate owner of this modern House gets his Sales manager Pappu Puri (Amar Maghnani), to pretend to be the current owner in order to make a more effective “sell” to the first prospective buyers in years. To give additional touch of authenticity she engages an actress Pooja (Keeshwar) to play the part of Pappu’s wife, just when his Majesty Sir. Shamsher Singh Bedi (Balwinder Singh Suri) and his wife Lady Sushmita Suvarna Bedi (Soniya Kapoor) come to survey the House before the plan to buy it. But real complications start when the Bedi’s have to stay the night at the House due to heavy rains – and turn out not to be husband and wife after all.
Further complications arise when Pooja’s fiancée HP(Jayesh Thakkar) unexpectedly drops in at the House and is furious to hear that his fiancée is engaged in such unscrupulous activity; and is annoyed more when he has to spend the night with Ms.Mandira’s secretary Ms.Julie (Shruti Sharma) - in the bathroom. The plot thickens when Mr. & Mrs. Photographer(Ashiesh Roy & Aahana) the local M.P. drop in the House because of their Car failure, Mr. Bedi mistakes Mr. Photographer as the photographer, I.M.Driver (Krishnna) he has engaged to click his and so called Mrs. Bedi’s photographs in compromising positions so that he can get a divorce from the real Mrs. Bedi. From here on the permutations become so intricate that it seems impossible that Pappu & Pooja can ever sort them out. But miraculously they do, so hilariously that the audience will keep rolling with laughter till the play ends. Yeh Tedha Ghar Yeh Medha Ghar - is a fast paced hilarious, boisterously entertaining, ribtickling, rip-roaring and an outrageously mad comedy.
